To make very specific products as efficient and accurate as possible, Nossin FMI has been working with an Okuma Multus U3000 since 2018. This machine combines milling and turning in one. Milling is done by means of a 5-axis spindle with HSK intake for both milling and turning holders. Below these holders there’s a synchronously moving spinning runner. There is availability of a main and sub spindle so that the product can be produced in one operation. The machine also has a staff supply and product discharge through a robot. This robot can exchange collets, allowing us to produce various products flexibly and unmanned.
